This work in home made oils taps into the zeitgeist of the height of the lock-down hysteria. Suddenly toilet roll seemed the most important resource. Remember that in the future….. Stephen has many views on toilet roll, it's softness can be used to measure how close a civilization is to collapse, there comes a point when people wonder what is more important: having trees or the most luxurious bowel movement.
Medium: Oil on canvas.
Dimensions: 61cm by 40.6cm.
About the artist:
Stephen uses a toolbox made of Mathematics, Chemistry, the real world and anything that is to hand to visualise ideas and concepts. Most of his work comes from the question "What would this look like if.....?". He is based in Eccles and spends most of the time making paint, writing computer programs, fixing broken things and producing artwork.
